Title: Geothermal Heat Pumps. Waterfurnace Video

Geothermal Heat Pumps are heat pumps that take heat from the Earth and move this heat into your home. This is done by placing water lines in the ground and running water through them at a sub cooled rate. The ground in our area is about 52* degrees 5 feet down and this is where we run our lines. This water has an anti freeze solution in it so it can go below freezing yet not freeze. This super cooled water then will absorb heat from the ground and come back to the house having gained heat. Inside the home there is a Geothermal furnace that with refrigeration it will remove the heat from the water and boil it off through the refrigerant in a coil inside the air stream. Geothermal systems can also be used to heat water in a storage tank for in floor heating systems. Give us a call today and let us help you plan your geothermal heating system.
