Making a field into a heat source. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 7180
In order to get heat out of this field we had to dig down 5 ft. Placing our loop field in the bottom. This will draw heat from the ground all year long without the use of strip heat.

If it is important to protect the surrounding area we are completely prepaired to do so. Expect the best in the Northwest, Dan's Top Notch.
Protecting the trees. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 7991
We all love trees! At Dan's Top Notch we can run our loop out through the trees and not hurt the trees. On some cases we have had to remove a tree, yet it is usually not needed. We simply go around, our loops do not need to go straight.
Replacing those old air source heat pumps. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 8358
In this home we removed (3) old air source heat pumps and added one Geothermal heat pump with a 3 zone system. (No more noisy outdoor units!)

Protecting your existing lawn is important, As you can see a little effort in the right place can make a big differance in the outcome of your new Geothermal system.
After excavation posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 8739
After excavation straw is placed on the field or area used for the loop field to draw moisture out of the ground quickly helping to stop any erosion caused by the excavation of the ground.
