After excavation posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 9356
After excavation straw is placed on the field or area used for the loop field to draw moisture out of the ground quickly helping to stop any erosion caused by the excavation of the ground.

Protecting your existing lawn is important, As you can see a little effort in the right place can make a big differance in the outcome of your new Geothermal system.
Replacing those old air source heat pumps. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 8915
In this home we removed (3) old air source heat pumps and added one Geothermal heat pump with a 3 zone system. (No more noisy outdoor units!)
Protecting the trees. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 8584
We all love trees! At Dan's Top Notch we can run our loop out through the trees and not hurt the trees. On some cases we have had to remove a tree, yet it is usually not needed. We simply go around, our loops do not need to go straight.

If it is important to protect the surrounding area we are completely prepaired to do so. Expect the best in the Northwest, Dan's Top Notch.

Making a field into a heat source. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 7610
In order to get heat out of this field we had to dig down 5 ft. Placing our loop field in the bottom. This will draw heat from the ground all year long without the use of strip heat.
3 old outdoor units now gone. posted by Dan November 29, 1999, 11:00:00 PM 7581
Looks like a great place to put the garbage can or the hose reel.
