What you are looking at here is a ductless two zone outdoor unit. This unit will deliver hot or cold refrigerant to the indoor heads in two rooms at the same time, or individually.

We turned this field into the heat source for a home in Ridgefield WA. This picture is before we started.

In order to get heat out of this field we had to dig down 5 ft. Placing our loop field in the bottom. This will draw heat from the ground all year long without the use of strip heat.
